Dr. Austin Barber is a Board Certified Urologist. He embarked on his educational journey at Abraham Baldwin College, earning an Associate of Science in Biology. He continued his academic journey at the University of Georgia, achieving Magna Cum Laude honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Driven by a passion for medicine, he pursued his Doctorate of Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine.

His dedication to serving in the medical field led him to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he completed a General Surgery Internship and Urology Residency. Notably, Dr. Barber served as a Captain in the United States Air Force Reserve excelling in the Health Profession Scholarship Program Medical Corps and graduating in the top 10% of his class during USAF Commissioned Officer training. During his tenure in the United States Air Force, he practiced as Chief Urologist, Major at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi, where he demonstrated leadership and expertise.

In 2020, he transitioned to Baxter Health Urology Clinic before co-founding the Vitality Plus Urology Clinic in June 2023, alongside his partner, Dr. Daniel Decker. Dr. Barber maintains active memberships with esteemed organizations such as the American Board of Urology, American Urological Association, Arkansas Urologic Society, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His commitment to advancing medical knowledge is evident through his past involvement in research, particularly the Quality Improvement Project at the Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System. Notably, he contributed to a project comparing Bladder Cancer rates at the VA Hospital to National Bladder Cancer rates.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Barber finds joy in his family life. He is happily married to his wife, Cara, and together they nurture a family of three boys. Dr. Barber’s multifaceted journey reflects a passion for Urology, a commitment to high standards, and a fulfilling personal life.

Dr. Daniel Decker is a Board-Certified Urologist with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Baylor University and a Medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and Urology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where he was a chief resident from 2010-2011.

His professional affiliations underscore his commitment to high standards, with memberships in the AOA Medical Honor Society, American Board of Urology, and the American Urological Association. Dr. Decker contributed significantly to the field of Urology during his tenure at Baxter Health Urology Clinic and Hospital from 2011 to 2023. He pioneered a surgical robotics program in 2011 which flourishes today. He optimized modern minimally invasive surgical BPH procedures. Advanced continuation of prosthetic surgery in Baxter County and developed a Center of Excellence for Sacral Neuromodulation.

In June of 2023, Dr. Decker co-founded the Vitality Plus Urology Clinic alongside his partner, Dr. Austin Barber, marking a pivotal moment in their collaborative journey. Dr. Decker specializes in urological cancers, (kidney, bladder, prostate), BPH, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction and prosthetics, chronic UTIs, incontinence, and low testosterone. His expertise extends to surgical interventions, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Outside his professional realm, Dr. Decker cherishes family life. He is happily married to his wife, Christina, they have three daughters and one son. Dr. Daniel Decker’s journey stands as a testament to his passion for Urology, unwavering commitment to excellence, and the balance he strikes between outstanding patient care and a fulfilling personal life.

Amy Reano, APRN, was born and raised in Mountain Home. She began her journey in healthcare by attending the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her pursuit of excellence continued as she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, where she maintained an impressive 4.0 GPA and received the Susan Harvey Graduate Nursing Scholarship.

Amy's commitment to leadership and academic achievement is highlighted by her nomination to the National Society of Leadership and Success Honors Society. She took her first position in healthcare as  an LPN at Katherine's Place at Weddington in Fayetteville, while completing her RN degree. After graduation in December 2013, she accepted an RN position at Sparks Regional Medical Center (now Baptist Health Systems) in Fort Smith, where she cared for complex post-surgical patients and served as charge nurse from February 2014 to October 2015.

After starting her own family, she decided to move from the hospital to a clinic setting and worked as an RN at Clarksville Family Medical Center from September 2015 to April 2021. After relocating back to Mountain Home, she worked as an RN at Baxter Regional Family Clinic on Market from June to December 2021. Then accepted her first nurse practitioner role with Baxter Health Urology Clinic in January 2022, before transitioning to Vitality Plus Urology in July 2023.

Amy is happily married to her husband, Kevin, and together they have two children, Josie and Miles. Her professional journey is marked by academic excellence, diverse nursing experiences, a passion for fostering a strong, trusting relationship with patients, and a steadfast commitment to providing optimal healthcare.

Julie “Katie “Hutchens, APRN, FNP-C, is a highly accomplished nurse practitioner with a strong educational background. She earned her B.S. degree in Nursing Science magna cum laude from Arkansas State University, followed by a master’s degree in nursing science from the same institution. Katie's career began as a registered nurse at NEA Cardiology from May 2008 to March 2011, and then as a registered nurse at BRMC Emergency Department from August 2011 to May 2014.

After obtaining her advanced practice registered nurse license, Katie transitioned to Baxter Health Urology Clinic, where she contributed significantly from May 2014 to June 2023. Currently, she serves as a nurse practitioner at Vitality Plus Urology Clinic.

Katie's commitment to professional development is evident through her memberships in prestigious organizations such as the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau Honors Nursing Society. She is also an active member of the Arkansas Nurses Association.

Her dedication to healthcare extends beyond her current role, Katie is happily married to Zach, and together they have a son and a daughter. Her journey is marked by academic excellence, a diverse range of nursing experiences, and a strong commitment to advancing the field.

Hannah Wilburn began her nursing career by earning her RN degree from North Arkansas College in 2016. She then obtained her BSN from the University of Arkansas in 2017. Continuing her education, she pursued a Master of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University and earned her Family Nurse Practitioner license.

Initially, Hannah worked as an RN in the emergency department at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. After advancing her qualifications, she accepted a position as an APRN at Washington Regional Family Practice, where she served from October 2020 to December 2023. Currently, she is employed as an APRN at Vitality Plus Urology.

Hannah is passionate about improving patients' quality of life, particularly those with urological conditions. She is an active American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) member. In her personal life, Hannah is married with three daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, caring for their farm, and being outdoors.

Daniel Pevril began his healthcare journey in 2013 as a certified nursing assistant(CNA) in a long-term care facility. He later worked simultaneously as an ER tech and a pharmacy technician at BRMC. In May 2016, he graduated from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Following graduation, he started working as a registered nurse in the Emergency Departments at Chi St. Vincent Infirmary and Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Pevril continued his education at Chamberlain University, where he earned a Master of Science in Nursing and obtained his family nurse practitioner  license. In August 2019, he became certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and began his advanced practice career at Baxter Health Urology Clinic.

In 2023, Pevril had an opportunity to work at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Northwest Arkansas but realized his true home was Mountain Home and returned to work at Vitality Plus Urology Clinic. Raised in Mountain Home, Pevril recently returned with his wife and child. His hobbies include outdoor activities and collecting; he enjoys spending time with his family.
